Her top 3 books are the first three cookbooks I ever bought 50+ years ago. And yes I still use them. They should be in everyone's library not only for the recipes but for the cultures. Now I have to add Mother Sauce to mine.

I think anyone would eat very well using only Lucinda's top three cookbooks—classics for sure. Mother Sauce is a keeper too. I've been turning to it again and again.

One of my favorite new cookbooks (and I love her others too)! Also, yes on the salted butter conversation--that is my go-to for baking.
