Oh Jenna, congratulations on your novel!!! Is there anything you can't do?!
And this list of winter cookbooks is stunning. So many new (to me!) titles—I wish I could buy them all! I loved your description of Roast Figs, Sugar Snow—dreamy in every sense of the word!
Congratulations on your novel ~ what an accomplishment! I'm so glad Maggie mentioned Good to the Grain. One of my favorite books and one I also pull out this time of year (it was a toss-up between that and Alpine Cooking). Also, pulling out my copy of Roast Figs, Sugar Snow. It has everything: beautiful cover, evocative title, great recipes.

Thank you Katie! As for the winter books, I have two of the five, but need the others, especially Alpine Cooking. I am obsessed with that cover!
Congrats on the novel! Very cool!
Thank you Kerry!
Alpine and German cooking all the way! Visiting Alsace last year this solidified my views that this style of hearty cooking is way underrated.
Congratulations to the new book! Sounds intriguing!
Yay for novel news!! And thanks for helping us get through the 1,456.78th day of the year so far.
My dek for tomorrow’s round-up post is “longest month ever.” 🫠 And thanks!
Forgive me for not chiming in sooner: I tried to comment from my phone yesterday! CONGRATULATIONS on the novel! This is so exciting.
Thank you, and you are forgiven ;)
Needed this! Officially requesting the Alpine Cooking one as a Valentine’s gift!
I am going to follow suit! I am obviously overflowing with cookbooks, but I feel like I need it.

So excited for you! Writing, selling, publishing—all of it. Adding to my TBR. Go you!
Thank you! I'm so excited that it will (eventually) be out in the world.
Congratulations on writing your debut novel! I love all those things too so will need to get your book when it comes out!
Yay! Maybe we'll have a little Cookbookery book club when it comes out.
Sounds like fun!

Jenna, you wrote a NOVEL?!?! Incredible. I can't wait to read this!!
This is the most beautiful list of cookbooks. I'm swooning over all of them.
Thanks Amanda! I am obsessed with these books too. I own Tartine No 3 but haven't opened it in ages. That changes now.
I just got the original Tartine Bread for Christmas...didn't even know there was a Tartine No 3!
